Alto Basso collection

Alto Basso takes its character from the rise and fall of its surface. Raised areas meet lower sections, creating a pattern that shifts gently with the light. From across the room, you notice the drawing. Move closer and its contours become clearer, with small shadows giving depth to the soft New Zealand wool. Underfoot, those changes in height become part of the experience, making the rug feel as inviting as it looks.

Each piece is made from 100% New Zealand wool and hand-knotted on a vertical loom using the Turkish knot. The technique asks for precision, especially where the surface changes level and the pattern takes shape. That patient work gives the collection its distinctive relief, with texture carrying much of the design. As daylight moves through the room, different areas come forward and settle back again. Alto Basso brings a quiet sense of movement to the floor, the kind you notice when a familiar room catches the light a little differently.
