Khyber collection
Made in Pakistan
The Khyber collection takes its name from the mountain pass that once carried silk and jade across the region. It’s a landscape of sheer rock, deep valleys and light that keeps shifting, which is exactly what these rugs hold on to. The patterns look weathered rather than drawn, closer to a rock face than a motif, with colours that stay grounded even when they become bolder. Knotted in wool and silk, they carry a lived-in, almost vintage feel, the kind of piece that looks like it has always belonged in the room.
Within Khyber sit three designs, each with its own character. Kelash is the most painterly, its wool and silk catching the light like the valleys it’s named after. Paiyu is quieter and more linear, a fine striped weave drawn from sandy plains and silvered mountain flanks. Nyama is the boldest of the three, stripped back to the essentials, where a single strong shade does the talking.
